Boo Boo, Donuts, and Big Deal

Emery has been a little more clumsy lately or been around her momma who hasn't protected her well I guess. So boo boo bunny made an appearance to help her. We also topped off the other evening with a trip to Krispy Kreme for a delish donut. And Emery ended the day going poo in the potty. She stood up in the middle of the bath and said she had to go potty. So proud of our girl slowly potty training. Maybe spring break next week will be our full-fledged potty try.

Monday Playground

Monday late morning we went to West Hills Park playground on the cloudy morning and we had fun! Emery even ventured down the second biggest slide by herself multiple times and was very proud!(*Side note: Emery picked out her polka dot sweater to match her polka dot pants... maybe a fashion faux paux but oh well.) 
Emery doing her favorite thing in the world! And Scotty enjoying spectating! (*Cute side note: upon seeing two boys throwing a frisbee at the park, Emery asked, "why is that boy naked?" I laughed out loud and said that some boys go shirtless sometimes.)

Saturday Fun

Saturday was a gorgeous day so we took advantage! We ran to Lowe's before meeting David, Brooke, Blair, and Linley at the park! The girls had lots of fun swinging, sliding, and climbing! Blair is fearless, especially compared to cautious Emery! We then snuck a peek at JoJo playing soccer nearby and grabbed Chickfila before heading home for nap time, preparing for a night in before the time change. A fun family day!

Friday we had cutie Camilla over for some play time and lunch and the two girls had a lot of fun!

Aunt Mollie visits

We loved having Mollie come in town for the weekend! It had been since Christmas so we had missed her terribly! Friday night, Mollie made it here just in time to hide out with all of us in the stairwell closet while a scary storm passed. We did wake both kids because the rain, wind, hail, and loss of electricity was a little too much to risk leaving both babies sleeping in their beds. Emery was surprised to see Mollie, be up so late, and cozy up in the closet at 9:45pm. She did seem a little afraid and had a hard time getting back to sleep, but hasn't mentioned the strange night occurrence since. Emery loved sending a boat down the waterfall, swinging, playing with lots of toys, and retrieving Lenny's lunch with Mollie and Grammie on saturday! Scott loved having Mollie help him move around as he now loves "walking" with hands held! Mollie and I even enjoyed a saturday night out to grab Barley's pizza which was a treat to have Mollie to myself! We had a fun weekend and are thankful for Mollie and Grammie's visit!

Feeding Machine

I asked Emery if she wanted to feed her brother some cereal on Monday morning and she jumped at the chance! She was a good helper and Scott accommodated her well! Love these two sweet ones and Emery's willingness to "help" and be such a good big sister!

Kitchen Helpers

Emery loves washing dishes or simply playing with water at the kitchen sink. It keeps her busy, makes her happy, so her momma is happy too! 
My other cute kitchen assistant was helping me cook dinner and loving tasting all my cooking utensils.

The other night while eating dinner, Emery was talking to me, and Seth interrupted Emery asking her a question. She immediately looked his direction and said, "just a minute" affirmidly and continued talking to me not skipping a beat. Seth and I must have laughed for four minutes straight. Another dinner time funny was when Seth was being silly and said, "hello?" to Emery, and she quickly muttered, "nobody is home." We giggled at her funny, original response.Then another day when Seth came home for lunch, the three of us were eating at the table. Seth asked Emery what some new crackers tasted like upon her sharing one with an extended arm. She then pulled her arm back, licked the cracker and said, "it tastes like that." handing it back his direction. She is cracking us up these days with so many words, questions, remembering, and eavesdropping. So many "why" questions to keep us on our toes already! We are so thankful for our sweet, healthy, and inquisitive little Emery!Happy boy always entertained by his sister and her funnies!

Water Feature

The fellas have migrated from the paver patio to the water feature in the backyard and are almost finished with maneuvering so many rocks to create a stream! They have worked so much even through rain as they created a tent to continue working last week. We are going to have lots of fun outdoor activity and relaxation with the patio, fire pit, and water feature! We will just have to save up money for furniture and plants and then we will be set for lots of usage and entertaining!
